I own the vehicle listed above (2.4L engine). I know bad choice. Basically, whenever I'm driving and pressing on the gas pedal, it makes a rumbling noise. I notice it more when I'm driving at slow speeds; however, it still occurs at highway speeds as well. Along with this, whenever I brake and stop at traffic lights, it shakes and feels like it's almost lurching forward.

There have been no warning lights on the dash or anything.

This has been happening for about a month now, but I figured it was because my car was leaking oil slightly. Nothing major and not constant. However, it hasn't been too noticeable and only occasionally.

However, today as I was driving, it was shaking violently, the headlights were dimming, and then it felt like the car was shutting off on me when I was stopped. But again, no warning lights.

Can you tell if the noise is coming from the front or rear of the car? I would remove the wheels and check the condition of the brakes; can you upload a short video of the noise?
