car not starting

my 2008 ford focus was starting and running fine but it is stuck in either 3rd or 4th gear it is a manual and also now it is turning over but it's not starting and I am about at my whits end on what else to try with it

Hi Jennie,

So we only handle one problem per thread, we will fix the not starting problem on this thread. Please start a new thread for the "stuck in gear" issue. Can a ask if it will run on starting fluid, if so the fuel pump could have gone out or the inertia switch got tripped. I would check that first. Here is a video and the switch location so you can see if the it needs to be reset. Please what this video as well
