The car has an automatic transmission goes into drive but cannot move forward or backward. Starting without problems. What can a problem be?

Hello,

When you move the gear selector do the indicator lights move as well? Also, the first step would be to scan for codes here is how:

Please run this test and get back to us.

Cheers, Ken

Thank you Ken. I will do as you suggested, but I do not have a code reader. I just also found out the driveshaft is not rotating when I started the car. Can this be caused by a sensor?

It could be. that is why we need the codes read to tell us which sensor it is. They have scanners for cheap ($17.00 US) on Amazon.

Let me know.
