My car makes a straining sound sometimes after driving it for a little bit. Is it the transmission?

This is hard to say because I am not sure what a straining sound is. Is this loud enough to get a recording of it? Does the vehicle drive any different or do you just hear the noise?

Let us know this information and we can go from there. Thanks

It does not drive any different I don't think. But now I have a bigger problem; my brother put power steering in where the break fluid goes. What do I need to it was only driven a little bit and I took most of it out and put break fluid in it.

Okay. Unfortunately, we need to start a new post for that as we need to keep each post to one topic so that others can the answer to this if they have the same issue and they won't find it under this post.

Just make sure we do not operate the vehicle until you use a suction gun to pull all the fluid out of the reservoir. Most then likely that will do it but let's get a new post started with some pictures of it and we can figure out what else is needed. Thanks
