When I first start the car and when I press the gas pedal, it makes a growling noise

When I start my car, it makes a growling sound then goes away after a minute or two. Then when I press the gas, it starts making a growling sound again. The sound could be described as a growl or a weird screech. I have no other problems with my car, nothing has started acting up. The only thing I can see is that my car doesn’t get up as fast now that this sound comes, meaning it takes longer to go at faster speeds.

Does noise happen at a certain speed or all the time?
Can you tell where the noise is coming from?

If you can upload a video, it could be helpful.

As noises can be from any number of components.

Also is the check engine light or any other warning light illuminated?
