I have the car listed above Ex coupe. I noticed the car would vibrate so I changed my motor mounts, tires, brake pads, ignition coils, spark plugs, air filter, and of course added oil for my engine. After changing my shocks and struts the car was shaking and vibrating so much when turning it on. It would calm down but still be vibrating. I also noticed it feels a bit jerky when driving as well. What can this be?

Hi,

Does the vibrating only happen when moving or can you feel it when sitting parked with it in any gear?

Also, if you feel it when not moving, have you checked for engine vacuum leaks? Have you tried scanning the computers to see if any codes are stored? If not, I would try both of these to start.

Here are links that explain how it's done:

Let me know exactly when the vibration is felt, if there are things that change it, and if the aforementioned things have been checked.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

Okay, that is likely related to the fuel system. At this point, I would recommend having the computer scanned as I mentioned above.

Here is the thing. If we don't scan for codes, it will become a guessing game that usually gets expensive and provides no results. Are you able to have the scan done or do it yourself?

Let me know.

Joe
