My car started to mess up while I was driving down the road. It was trying to cut out like it was running out of gas. I cleaned out the catalytic converter and put it back on and it started running good. But when I put the rest of the exhaust on it started to cut out again.

People have told me since I have a thrush glass pack in the middle then a stock muffler at the end that its causing to much back pressure and not blowing out enough exhaust out the back. Could that be the problem?

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first. Atuo parts rent them

How did you "clean the converter"? If a converter is clogged or partially clogged the symptoms you're describing can get worse as the operating temperature gets warmer. Back pressure can cause the engine to run rough and stall. Also a common symptom of a clogged converter is low power when trying to accelerate. I would want to also check fuel pressure. If you need some directions on checking fuel pressure let me know.
