I have a P6043 error, replaced pedal position sensor and throttle position sensor already, battery is new and charged.

I clear the check engine light (I have a fixd) and it runs fine for a bit, maybe 10 or so miles and goes into malfunction mode again. All I need to do is clear the error once again, and it drives fine for a bit again.

Lights that come on are, Check Engine, Automatic Emergency Braking light, Slip Indicator Light and Master Warning Light.

The 2 other codes that pop up as pending are P0011 and P0335.

These codes po335 and po011 usually indicate a problem with the cam and or crankshaft position / sensors and or cam chain/ belt timing issues and sometimess weak oil pressure in thise areas. Also, can indicate its time for a timing belt or chain and tentioners replacement. But if it's just the sensors theyre usually pretty simple only one bolt and cheap for the part to replace you can find them on the typical sites like ebay or Amazon and many other websites easily. Good luck

Also a side note. I don't recommend driving it until the issue is resolved. As it can damage the engine.

Also, one of the signs is the engine not always started requiring longer cranking or sometimes won't even start at all and the codes keep returning hope this helps solve the problem. Good luck

I can tell you that it's not taking any longer to start than normal. So, it's probably a sensor.

I should add this. When my check engine light comes on, the car runs really rough. Sometimes it even stutters and turns off. But once I clear the check engine light- no issues.

If it if it shutters and stalls that's usually a sign the crank sensor or cam sensor or both are bad and the po643 code is just the ECU telling us it senses a high voltage due to a sensor malfunction. So, yeah sounds like a bad crank and or cam sensor. Good luck, hope this helps.

I just replaced the cam sensor. My car started-had some trouble starting initially, like the battery was dead, but then started. Then it just shut off. I only have the original error code though right now, P0643.

Well, so much for that. The issue with it sputtering off was the plug was not in right for the cam sensor. (My bad). But I went for a drive, and when my car hit 55mph it errored out again.

So I am going to say this is my last update. I replaced the 3 parts I said I did. And I still got check engine light and malfunction. I went for a drive today with the car, like 60 miles total. And after about 10 it came back on, but I cleared it again and it did not come back on. So maybe it just needed a drive to clear all errors?

Most likely had to go through a drive cycle to cleared it and sometimes you actually have to clear them twice Evan though the engine light is out. Anyway, glad it seems to be clearing up good news.
