Gear will not shift from park (P) and displays ESC error

A message "Error Stabilization Control", appeared when I entered my gate a few days ago. This has resulted in gear lever not shifting from park (P). Now the car displays the steering wheel error and engine light (see attached).

Hello, I'm Danny.

That means that your car has a few malfunction codes stored in your cars computer. You can check these codes by using a scanner/code reader to check. If you don't have access to an it's possible your local auto parts stores might have a tool loaner program for you or might possibly check them for you for free. Once that is done get back to us with the code numbers and we'll be happy to diagnose your cars problem. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:
