I was driving my car when suddenly it felt like it was lacking power, and then the radio randomly shut off. I thought maybe the battery was dying so I pulled into a parking lot, but the car was turning on without any issues. I realized that I couldn't shift out of park, and then noticed that my taillights as well as my brake lights and turn signals were not functional. In addition, the power locks and power windows did not work. The car will drive if I use the manual override to switch gears, but it still feels as though it doesn't have much power. I have checked the fuses and none of them seem to be broken, so I am at a loss for what the issue could be. I've been told it probably isn't a relay issue since it affected so many different things at once, but since it happened so suddenly, I'm not sure what it could be. I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning, but the hazard lights do work. We also tried replacing the brake sensor but it didn't make any difference.

I would really appreciate any help you could provide! Thank you!

Hello,

It sounds like the ignition switch has gone bad. To be sure here is a guide to check for power and the ignition switch wiring diagrams so you can see how it works and how to test it:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
