The car drives perfect except in peak hour stop start traffic, in appears to be starving of fuel till it won't restart at all even though having half a tank of fuel. It restarted this morning after sitting for 15 to 20 minutes other times I've top it up with $20 fuel from petrol can. Happen 3 times now only in stop start peak hour traffic not long owned this car. Obviously why it was solded

What you described is commonly caused by a plugged pickup screen inside the fuel tank. This applies to any car with the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail on the engine, and a return line to the tank. The typical symptom is the engine runs fine at highway speeds, but stalling occurs when the largest volume of fuel is being pumped, ... Which is during coasting.
