Hello everyone im reaching out to see if anyone else has had the same issue as I am. Car has ran great since got it till just couple weeks ago. So when I was driving one day it was running fine than out of no where it was going than it started going slow and as I pressed the gas it was just revving up n not going. So I pulled over checked fluids and everything was good I got back in started car up and it took off like should. When I came to stop at light and went to press gas it just revved up and moved slowly I pulled over again and turned it off and inspected it again and didn't notice anything no leaks no smoke or strange smells. I got back in car started it up and it went like it wasn't just driving weird. But soon as I slowed down and try pressing gas again it didn't catch n go like should. I turned it off and restarted it and it would go like normal. I replaced solenoid A&B and car was fine for couple days than my issue started up again. My trans fluid is at correct level no leaks or burnt smell. Now car cranks up n goes until I start to slow down or come to complete stop than I have to restart car and it will go again like should. But if I stop an than try to go it just revs up. I would have to shut it off and restart it to go again. I'm really hoping it's nothing major and something simple to fix. Unfortunately I am not able to work due to a medical condition I was recently diagnosed with and have limited funds. I had to leave my job and am limited on what am able to do with car. I have deprived myself of sleep and everything else putting all my time into getting issue figured out. An reason why is the car has a very special meaning to me I inherited the car from my mom who passed away and it's only thing I have left of her. I would take rides in car and just drive I felt like she would be riding with me during my ride. I'm hoping that I don't need to rebuild it or replace it because like I said my funds are limited and don't really have strength to do that. I was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig Disease and it was hardest thing to have my doctor tell me that there's absolutely nothing in the world anyone can do for my condition because they have no cure. So any advice is appreciated and greatly excepted and thankful. Thank you for any and all information on my issue. Thank you everyone in advance.

I am sorry to hear about you troubles, but it does sound like the transmission needs to be rebuilt. But can you tell me if there are any trouble codes? If you have not run them yet here is a video to show you how.

I have ran code scanner and diagnostics on it numerous times and I am not receiving and transmission codes what so ever on code that has been shown for transmission is a incorrect gear ratio code that has been shown for transmission and it was showing up for over a year now. But even with that code car was driving and everything fine. Prior to this issue I had absolutely no trouble with transmission when I would drive it would shift smoothly and no noises or jerking or delayed shifting gears from it at all. Just went to acting up as I was driving and I was driving in it already for over 5 hours that day getting in and out of car thru out day and when got in and was driving got to light went to go and it went like should than it just wouldn't go after got to 35 mph it just reved up like I had it in neutral.

Can you tell me the code number? You may have an input shaft speed sensor that is not good, here is the location of the sensor so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

The code that is given on code scan is P0730 "Incorrect Gear Ratio" an like I said it's the only transmission code that is appearing on scan nothing else. An so I just double checking it so I know exactly what I have to do. The input shaft speed sensor is located in the side casing where the shift solenoid and pressure control solenoid is located correct?

Ok I was way off I located it. It's located on the passenger side of car at end of CV axle on transmission casing. Should I replace the output shaft speed sensor as well at same time?

Correct last message it is in the driver's side transmission casing where shift solenoid is located at. Going to get the input shaft speed sensor and install it and will give update on results of it after replacing it. Is there a way to tell when I remove old one if it's no good or no?

Located and removed speed sensor from housing and it's covered in metal shavings all around it and it's covered with thick layer. Uploading picture of sensor so you can see it

Nice work on getting the sensor out of there, the metal shaving are not a good sign but I would try installing a new sensor and if that does do anything the transmission will need to be rebuild. Let me know how it goes, thanks for the image it helps.

Ok so I took it to next step and decided to go ahead and pull the other sensor as well to see it's condition it was in. An plus the first sensor I pulled was the "Output Shaft Speed Sensor". So I had to pull the side cover of transmission to access the "Input Shaft Speed Sensor" and it had some metal shavings that was on it but nothing like on one in picture. By time I finished putting everything back together it was late so didn't test it to see if anything changed. Will send response with results of changing them.
