I washed my car outside my house and did not wash anything under the hood of the car. Pulled it in the garage and tried to start it the next day and now it’s not turning on. It will crank but won’t start, I checked the fuses, and the sparks plugs have spark. The battery is fine as well, and I checked the fuel pump and it works properly. I’m just not sure if it doesn’t have enough pressure to send the fuel or maybe my starter? No codes pop up either.

If the engine is cranking over, it is not the starter. Can I ask if the engine will run on starting fluid? This can help us check to see if it is a fuel or ignition problem, or possibly an internal engine issue. Please go over this guide:

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

I sprayed starting fluid into the throttle body, but it still wouldn’t start. I have included a video of what it sounds like now.

Thanks for the video. Yep, the timing chain has broken. Here is how to replace it to fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
