So the car acts as if it has no power at all, as far as I can tell fuses are fine, as well as the wiring. It also will sometimes make the sound if the key is in the ignition but as soon as you turn it you loses all power.

Not sure yet but you might be having an issue with the actual ignition switch if so, then you'll need to replace it before other problems occur as it could be shorting or open at times when it isn't supposed to be on the inside. It could be broken but also they do get dirty so you can spray wd40 in there sometimes that helps loosen it up a bit for you to find out if something's sticking or broken or not and it won't hurt anything. That's an easy place to start, but it might only make it last a little longer if it is broken you'll still need to replace it. Then get back to us to let us know what you

Yep and move the key in and out a few times and turn it on and off as few times to let it work into the switch. Don't use to much just enough to get the part inside lubricated it also has a slight meaning effect on electrical components

Then check to see if the problem changes if not we can help
Sometimes other things can cause these problems to but this is the starting point we're not there yet. Just checking simple things first.

Do you mean electrical power or engine power they're two different things you said the car it sounds like you mean the actual electrical power correct as in there is not enough power to light up the dash or start the car?

Yep, I would look at that battery terminal connections, if yo have an cable end repair kit like the one down below in the images these are famous for corrosion and stopping the car from getting electrical power.

Yes, a continuity will not help, once the draw hits the circuit it shuts down. Are the cable ends painted? This will make it fail as well, I would remove the battery cable ends from the cable and scrape clean the connect area. Can you upload an image of the cable ends so I can see?
