Cant trap on accelerator car just goes dead under my feet while driving

Well my car just goes dead under my feet while driving. So I thought if was the distributor or the module or the coil or the carburetor kit or the glow plugs which I have bought all of these parts mentioned. Is still doing the same. Now and then I have to kick start the car sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn't. So what can the problem be please advice me because I'm giving out money on unnecessary parts.
