Cannot communicate with scanning tool

Hello,

What are the error codes that you have?
Is it giving you the "display cluster failure, visit dealer" ?
It appears to have some electrical malfunctions. There could be several factors.
Did this just happen all of a sudden?
How long have you owned this vehicle? Any symptoms before these issues?

These vehicles have SAM control modules that could malfunction and create some strange issues.
First you need to figure out which SAM is bad then replace.

However the driver side SAM control module controls the A/C, wiper, lights and few other components that you are having issues with.

I have attached images showing the locations and functions of the SAM.
