Can you siphon transmission fluid and replace it with a few quarts with no problems?

I can't afford a full change but it's brown. So can I siphon a few qts and replace it with no problems until incandescent change it. More like a temporary bandage for now.

Hi,

If you are able to draw it out via the dipstick tube, yes, it won't hurt. However, I'm not sure if you will be able to get enough out. Maybe 2 or 3 quarts would likely be as much as you can draw out. Is that what you expected? Also, you will need a vacuum source to draw the fluid out.

Let me know.

Joe
