Sir,I am leaving the town for FIVE months.
I have Noco genius G1100 charger. The charger manual says, the battery charger can be safely left connected indefinitely without the risk of overcharging.
Will it be safe to do so.
I replaced my battery in June 2017 at Mercedes dealer.
I have absolutely no issues with the battery till date.
I am enclosing the manual document (underlined)for your reference.
Thanks in advance for your expertise.

The battery needs to be replaced. I would get a new battery and leave it disconnected until you get back. 9 years for a battery is amazing, most only last about 5 to 6 years. Let me know if you need anything else.
