The vehicle listed above is a 350 XLT, 3.7L FI DOHC 227 CID. I have noticed sometimes engine power is down- engine diesels on hill/acceleration. Engine ck light came on today. I show code P0369 on OBD which is for Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 1 Sensor B. Intermittent problem. I would like to test, change the sensor. Can not find it or any information anywhere regarding its location.

Sure, the camshaft sensor bank 1 (right side) sensor B (exhaust camshaft) is on the right side of the engine (passengers side)

Code P0369 for an issue with the Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1).

I can tell you though this can be a false code because the camshaft actuator is not working correctly due to low or dirty engine oil, I would change the oil and filter and then clear the codes before changing the sensor out. FYI, Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thanks! Uhg. Unfortunately looks like I have to take off the intake manifold to access it. Appreciate the oil tip. I just took in for quick drive thru oil change last week. Checked oil just now- is over filled by looks like 2 quarts. Could be it?

That is not helping, is the oil dirty? If so, I would change it out with a new filter, then clear the codes.

70,000 miles, I've done change every 6-10k w/ 5w20 synth, so oil is clean, but at drive thru change last week they overfilled a good bit. I just drained the whole lot to see how much- was close to 8 pts in there- well above the 6qt capacity. New oil at proper level, cleared codes. So far it looks good- check engine light off- running normal. I'm a happy man if I don't have to pull intake manifold to access cam sensor for change. I really appreciate your input.
