I have replaced the camshaft position sensor with a new one. I have cleared the codes and run the engine. The same code is reported. I switched the camshaft position sensors between the banks and still get the bank 1 sensor A code. I am considering an Ignition control module. Is this a good next step or should I be looking for something else?

Hi,

There could be an issue with the wiring, a connector, and other things. What is the code you got when scanned? Let me know so I can check for diagnostics.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

If you look below, I attached the diagnostics related to this code. Take a look through everything and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

If you have questions, let me know. Also, let me know what you find.

Take care,
