This is actually a 13 model gl550, not 450, but didn't see an option for it. Any suggestions on how to check power to the sensors first? I will also check if there is oil in the harness. Just don't want to throw money on sensors if it's not the issue.

Let's start with making sure that there is an actual issue. The reason I ask, is those are generic OBD II codes and do not show up in the MB manuals.

Is there any performance issue or the check engine light on?

If there is a check engine light and these codes are there, then that is just the way your scan tool is interpreting the cam codes that are there.

The way to check these 3 wire sensors is with a lap scope. Basically, you need to monitor the square wave pattern to make sure the signal is clean and clear. If that is then the sensor and tone wheel are find and it is either a wiring issue or module issue.

You can narrow that down by checking the signal at the ECM and if the pattern is fine then it is most likely a connection or the ECM.

Do you have a lab scope? Monitoring voltages will not tell us anything as we need to see the clean edges of the square pattern.

No check engine light, no performance issue, I just scan all cars I get and saw these, these are always scary.

Okay. I would clear them and put some miles on it and I bet they will not come back. If they do and they are "real" codes, they will set a check engine light. These are not codes that will set with no MIL.

So, if they are there or do not clear and there is no check engine light, then that is just your scan tool picking something up and displaying these codes. However, MB does not use these same codes, so I suspect they are just erroneous codes. That means I would not also try and repair them because if this is the case, you will never fix them because there really isn't anything wrong.
