Hi, my Engine light comes on & goes off randomly. Any reason why? I have the diagnostic code, its P0036

The code DTC P0036 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2, relates to the post cat oxygen sensor on the rh(passenger) side. The quickest way to check if it is a bad sensor is to check the resistance of the sensor heating element. On the sensor, it would be the wires that correspond to pink/black, and black/white from the harness side, pins C and D. It should have relatively high ohms, but not open circuit. Or change the right with the left and see if the code changes to p0056.

I just went and had the o2 sensor replaced, no engine light since! Im happy now!
