2001 Cadillac STS overcharging alternator

Could an alternator that is putting out 15.2 volts be causing my car to go completely dead at times and my temp and gas guage to not work and stereo to not turn up volume or what could it be? Just started happening but dont trust my family to drive it if its not reliable.

Hi there, this charge rate is way to high, it may not be the cause of all your problems, but you do need to get this repaired first so we can see what else requires looking at, do this now, as you will do damage to the ECU and other electrical components if this is left as it is.
