I would like to adjust the flash rate on the LED brake light on the trunk of my 1999 STS. Currently the brake light flashes rapidly. Is it possible to make the brake light not flash but instead stay solid the entire time the brakes are depressed? If so, then how do I do it? Thanks, B

I have never seen one that flashes in my 12 years at a cadillac dealer, they all stay on solid unless something has been done. What is the history of the vehicle, how long have you had it?

It is not defective. It has flashed since 2002 when it was purchased by the second owner. Is there some way to adjust it?

It is not factory for it to flash, it should be solid. If it has flashed since the second owner has had it, the first owner has put something aftermarket in it, or the lamp is defective. If it has a consistent flash rate, I would say some type of flasher has been installed in the circuit. As far as an adjustment, if it is not factory, I don't know if it is adjustable. Remove the rear lamp panel and see if something is between the harness connector and the lamp, that would be the first place I would look.
