Why would the car drain the battery after the alternator has been changed and the battery has no dead cells. What would make the car drain the battery in ten minutes i'm thinkin the starter wire is to blame where is the starter and is the wire any where close to external heat separate from the heat generated by the electrical current, is the electrical current strong enought o melt the wire all by itself?
please address all quetions

The starter is in the intake valley. If you had a shorting wire, it would be the battery cable, and all the amps would be delivered to the short through the cable, thus melting wire, and potentially starting fire. Draining it in ten minutes would have to be an extremely heavy short. You say the battery has no dead cells, has it been load tested to evaluate it's load delivering capability, and what is the voltmeter read when it is running?
