I was about to purchase a cadillac srx from an auction but I found out that it had flood damage. If the car has low milage and just has flood damage, whats so bad about flood damage?

If it is inside the vehicle, you could have issues with water intrusion into electronics. There could also be concerns with molds/mildew. I would not purchase it without an inspection to determine the impact, specifically to gearcases and such that could have water in them, and was it salt water.
