Hello I just had a transmission put in and I drove it for 2 days and then the next day the gear lights on the console started to flash, when I turned off the car it has not started since, I have"" car may not restart and anti theft errors on the console but they have been on for a year(since I got the engine put in). I have washed and dried my keys, diconnected the battery, tried to turn the key part way till the lights stop blinking and all has failed. All the car does when I try to start it is flash the gear shift lights on and off.~

This happened to may a couple of times with my Maxima & Grand Prix. Make sure your gear shift is in the "park" position, then try to restart it. If that don't work, shift the car into "Neutral" and try to restart. Your sensor my not reconize the gear shift in "park" position.

Sounds like the neutral safty switch isnt adjusted right, take it back, what does it say in the consold when trying to start?
