What is spark plug gap on this engine?

V8 4.6L is .050 (In thousandths of an inch)

I have a spark plug that is misfiring on the car. I plan to drive it about 15 miles to a dealer for repair, will this cause a problem? Dealer says ot will effect preformance and fuel consumption.
