1996 Cadillac Seville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Oil lamp lights up after running car awhile, then,
bells go off Stop Engine, low oil pressure. Changed switch, did't resolve, put heavier weight oil, didn't resolve. What could this be

Which switch did you change, The one on the oil filter adapter? Are you experiencing any noise? It might be possible that you need to physically have the oil pressure checked. Was there any oill in the switch connector, when it was changed?
