I havent even seen the car yet - it is for sale for $500.00. Would there be a bad sensor causing it to not cool down? I will be looking at it tonight. Start the car and let it run a while and see if the cooling fan does come on.

This car may have a blown head casket or crack in the head. If so, it will be losing water as an added symptom. These are very expensive to fix and may not be worth the cost.
