My vehicle is a 2000 Cadillac DTS, 41000miles and
is 300hp. When the engine is cold it starts find
but stalls before the proper running temp.
When the car reaches the normal temp its does not
stall and runs great. Thank you

Do you mean it starts then dies, or starts and then dies when put in gear? I understand all happens when cold, just need a little more on how it dies.

Thank you for your response. The car will stall in gear or out. This occurrance will only happen
once and not again. As I mentioned once the car
has reached proper engine temp it runs great.
I don't know if this matters but since we have
had the car, new, the cold idle has always been
a little rough.
Thanks Jim

The rough idle in the am could be an injector bleeding down overnight, causing a flood in one cylinder. Try a coolant sensor and fuel injection service to remedy the stalling in the am
