I have a 1995 Cadallic SLS with 140,000 miles. We were told in order to replace the a/c evaporator the engine would have to be removed. The estimate was 1800.00 to R&R engine, replace the evaporator, recharge and check for leaks. This sounds questionable to me. I'd like your opinion. Thanks. Mike.
