1998 Other Cadillac Models 105000 miles

had alternator replaced in dec.06. Had waterpump replaced in oct.07. After waterpump replacement, the batterylight flashes every so often. Also securitylight, traction controlle lights come on every so often.
is there a short?Loose wire?Defective alternator?Defective waterpump?Ihad battery replaced in Jan.07, waterpump replaced at g.M. Dealer. Please help, I love my car.

Where was the alt replaced at? Where was the part bought at?
