2007 Cadillac Escalade Ext 50000 miles

i have changed brake pads in many gm vehichles, never on cadillac, my question is do I need any special tools to change front pads or will my metric hex tools work to remove the caliper mounting bolts?

If you are just changing the pads, you just need to remove one of the caliper bolts, and it will rotate up. I think they are 15mm. If your referring to hex as allen, they are just a standard socket.
