2003 Cadillac Escalade Ext All Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

My 2003 Cadillac Escalade died on the road and when I tried to start it it would not crank. I replaced the battery and it still wont start. Can you helpl advise me to what may be the problem?

There are fusible links by the starter they protect the system when there is a short. However sometimes when tehy get a heavy load the burn up. They are desiged to do that. That I probably why your truck won't start. A pro can fix this fairly easy.
