2006 Cadillac Escalade loud clunk noise while switching gea

Im having problems now that my transmission was repair I keep hearing a loud clunk noise coming from the tail of the tranny took it to the dealer and they said that it was normal that I had to give a litle time to swith the gears. Im wondering if this is normal or should I have it look at again.

Take it to a trans shop and explain what you have had done. IT could be anything from poor work to a universal joint that has worn. Noises like this are more easily diagnosed when they have the vehicle.
