Brakes problem
1999 Cadillac Escalade V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 139000 miles

Replacing the brake booster requires disconnecting the pin from the brake pedal.

Unfortuately access is blocked by the steering column.

Do I have to drop/remove the steering column, remove the dash and go in that way?

Easy repair made difficult.

Thanks
Gary

I am not showing anything extra in the procedure. The retainer that holds the brake switch can be removed, it is a bit of a challenge though.
