What's the diff. Between a v9 and a vY, i hv a 98 eldorado and its a v9 & I found engine with s vY can I swap tht 1 4 tha other 1

It is primarily a difference in horsepower, and ratios in the transmission. In theory it would fit, and more than likely all would plug in, but you may run into some calibration and compatibility issues that may result in poor performance and an engine light. I would recommend a direct replacement.
