When my stereo is on and I press down on my brake to slow down or stop my dash lights flicker and my stereo cuts off and pops back on. Even when my stereo is off my lights still flicker when I hit my brake. Sometimes when I hit my brake it will make a slight scratch noise and sound which I feel through my brake pedal. Also when my stereo is on, sometimes I can hear my car idle through my subs until I step on the gas. I have taken it back to the audio place where I got my stereo installed and they kept my car for two days and couldn't figure it out. Once I got a warning that told me when I hit my brake to service steering system and another occasion I got a warning that said check airbag system(scary). What is going on?

It sounds like the audio store used a circuit for power that they maybe shouldn't have. There's also noise supressors that will take the noise out of the subs. I would pressure the audio store to double checking their power source for the system. They may have tied into the Brake light switch, and/or the airbad wiring. Not certain but good possibility. The airbad system is independant of any other system and is pretty picky about it's circuit. If it's self check reveals an intruder, it's going to let you know. Keep taking it back until they get it right. Tell them to focus on the Brake light switch circuit.
