Engine Performance problem
1994 Cadillac El Dorado V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 120k miles

I have a 1994 el dorado touring coupe a few days ago the car started to idle rough, had little get up and go. It has new plugs I think it may be a wire or coil pack, How do you check to see whats bad or is this a fuel and spark problem. It also skips a little between 45-47 mph. As the car warms up a little it seems to get better but at a stop it shakes the car

Hi:
It sounds like a misfire problem. You need to have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Take it to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer. Most stores will do it for free. Let me know what they find.
