This vehicle has a "Goodwrench" replacement engine with 23K on it now. I noticed a puddle under the left front side. Upon investigation it looks like the oil filter mounting/cooler line housing is leaking. It only leaks while running BTW. It doesnt appear to be a cooler line. It looks like its coming from the base and running down the block and trans case. The filter is tight & the vehicle was serviced 2700 miles ago. Im curious if theres an O ring or something where the housing bolts to the block? Also could you point me at or provide me with an illustrated breakdown of this? Thanks for your help.

Try removing that oil filter, sometimes careless technicians leave the old O ring from the old filter in place, then put the new filter on, and this ALWAYS results in leaking while the engine is running, if not noticed in time, damage will occur!
