2002 Cadillac DTS coolant level

The dash says check coolant level, but it is on the normal mark. And gives a beeping sound when driving.

Had it been low and coolant was added? The sensor for coolant level is in the tank. Sometimes it sticks, and the tank may need replaced. You can try rapping on the tank pretty firmly, although not enough to break it. I use a rubber mallet when I try it. Alot of times it works, but not always.
