I have a base model car listed above. The upgrade DHS Deville came with a Nav system and screen, mine did not. Could I swap my factory radio out for a factory Cadillac Deville DTS Nav screen? Someone help me out if you can.

Swapping out your factory radio for a factory Cadillac Deville DTS navigation screen could be possible, but it might involve more than just changing the screen itself. Here are some points to consider:

Compatibility: You'll need to ensure that the DTS navigation screen is compatible with the wiring and connectors in your base model 2004 Cadillac Deville. The DTS navigation system might have additional wiring and components that your base model Deville doesn't have.

Wiring and Components: The DTS navigation system isn't just a screen; it's a part of a larger navigation and entertainment system. It includes GPS modules, antennas, control units, and potentially different wiring. You might need to acquire and install these additional components to make the navigation system fully functional.

Programming and Configuration: Modern car systems are tightly integrated with the vehicle's electronics. Swapping in a navigation screen might require reprogramming or configuring the vehicle's computer systems to recognize the new components.

Professional Installation: Given the complexity of these systems, it's recommended to have the installation performed by a professional who is experienced with automotive electronics and navigation systems. They can properly assess the compatibility, perform the necessary modifications, and ensure everything works as intended.

Cost and Feasibility: The cost of sourcing the required components and getting them installed, along with potential reprogramming, can be quite high. It's important to weigh the cost against the added functionality you'll gain.

Aftermarket Options: Instead of a factory DTS navigation system, you might consider aftermarket navigation solutions that are designed to be more plug-and-play for various vehicle models. These solutions often come with comprehensive installation instructions and support.
