Caddy dying out

1991 sedan deville 4.9 auto 111,000 its wierd every time I go to get on a on ramp to the thruway my car jus dies out and I tap the gas a few times and she picks up and goes I got the codes of the computer and it gave me e48 which is the egr valve so I replaced that but still has the code in memory and also the code e85 which is idle throttle angle to high do have any suggestions on these codes and y it would die out then take off after pumping the gas I would appreciate this alot thanks so much

Look down the throat of the throttle plates, carbon causes this, the tubes at the bottom are clogged and the TPS is outa wack, this stuff needs cleaned out and an Idle set up needs to be preformed
