Since new the power steering intermittently locks up when driven through water, oftentimes even small puddles. After the fourth time at the dealers
the steering box was supposedly replaced. Belt is checked frequently. Problem has continued/ My 72 year old wife is the driver of the vehicle and when the problem has occured she has almost lost total control before getting the vehicle stopped. Dealer says they can noty find anything wrong.

Are all the deflectors and splash shields on the vehicle?

The dealer has never said anything about a deflector
not being there. How am I supposd to know if one is not there?

There are two front extensions, one right and one left, viewable in the front wheel wells. And there is one that runs the length of the front from right to left, it is below the front bumper. Pretty much, if you look in a front wheel well, or under the front bumper, you should see plastic panels, no belts, brake lines, wiring, etc.
