2003 Cadillac Deville V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My question is. I want to recharge my a/c system myself, but I'm not sure how much freon I need to add without over pressurizing the system.

If the system is completely discharged, I believe it is 2 lbs. There should be a sticker under the hood somewhere, maybe even on the accumulator, that specifies a charge amount.

Thank you for helping me. It still blows cool air, I just want to top it off, so what your saying is I need to make sure I don't go over 2 lbs?

If it blows cool, I personally would leave it be. You might introduce a problem, when you did not have one before.

The only problem is I live in Las Vegas, so I need ice cold air when it starts to be 115 degrees outside.
