Crunching sound like crushing can when turning at 10 mph or lower. STRUTS WERE REPLACED about 20,000 miles ago.
Also, have whizzing sound at 30 - 50 mph from right side under hood. Sort of sounds like low tire road noise, but isn't. Steady sound. Does not get loader or less when speeding up or down.

But could coil cause hard starting when hot? Yup, if it looses its ability to build the magnetic field required for the secondary circuit in the ignition system
Are you overheating above that 1/2 hr
Recheck the ignition timing it will do that if its off-makes it look like something is wrong with the battery/starter.

Thanks for the reply
yes, it continues hard starting. I use vehicle on farm, and it continues with the problem after it gets hot. Once it cools down, then if I start and shut it off on continous short times, it starts ok

My next suggestion is try checking the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge to see what the pump is doing could be failing to include the fuel pump relay or the inertia switch.
