Car was overheating; had stuck theromstat and radiator cap replaced. Drove 13 mi. And registered to be overheating again. Was told that the gasket is blown. Is holding pressure, no coolant in oil, no exhaust gases in coolant. Coolant senso/bottle replaced. Drove approx. 30 mi registered overheating at 246 degrees; ran radar scan on motor, read only 218 degrees each time checked. Please help me!

I am unemployed, otherwise, I would make donation. I am very sorry. Thank you for your assistant in this matter.

What method was used in determining no exhaust gases in cooling system? Is the heater producing hot air? The thermostat has an air bleed that is supposed to be referenced at the top. Where are you putting the radar to obtain the 218 reading?
