1999 Cadillac Deville column shifter

The shifter is hard to operate to get in gear. No leaks, no repair history. It will go into gear and the transmission runs fine. It seems worse when its colder this is my wifes car, not used too often.

Ck the cable on the trans, its under the master cylinder, take off the 13 mm bolt and then opreate the shifter from inside, that will tell you which side its comming from
