Engine Cooling problem
1999 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

If your anti-freeze is disappearing, you are using the wrong type of anti-freeze. Look at your radiator and follow the instructions. Once you put in the proper anti-freeze, your engine will stop burning oil and overheating. THE ANTIFREEZE YOU USE SHOULD NOT CONTAIN SILICATE.

Thanks for the info., Just because you have the wrong type of coolant doesn't necesarrily mean there will be coolant loss though. It also does not have anything to do with burning motor oil.
